Integrity
Verify packages when hashes are published
Compare SHA-256 (or vendor-published digests) for the exact filename you downloaded. Softonic published example digests for a 26.1.0 Windows build during its scan window; always match the hash to the file version you actually received.
Source transparency
Community sources and issue history live in the public DBeaver GitHub project under Apache 2.0. Prefer release packages that match the version string shown in Help / About after install.
Bundled runtime
Requires Java 25+. Official distributions include OpenJDK 25. Delete the install jre folder only if you intentionally switch to a local JDK that meets the minimum.
