Ethics
Ethical usage statement
DBeaver is a database workbench. Use it to manage systems you own or are permitted to administer. Do not use the client to exfiltrate data, hide unauthorized access, or violate employer or customer agreements.
AI Chat and @ai features may send prompts to configured AI providers. Review those provider policies before enabling cloud models on sensitive schemas.
Transparency
Open-source and package metadata
Source transparency
Community sources, issues, and release history are maintained as a public open-source project. Inspect code and release notes for the version you install.
Postura sobre malware
Aclaración de no malware
Community Edition is not designed as malware. Softonic’s trust panel reported clean VirusTotal-based results for scanned official-style Windows builds. That does not replace your own verification.
Occasional antivirus or SmartScreen warnings are a known class of false positives for Java desktop installers and newly published binaries. Treat them as signals to verify hashes and source, not as proof of compromise by themselves.
